Building Roameo

Roamy is a simple rover chassis designed to be a flexible beginner's platform.

Attach two motors together with a 2 x 4 plate.

Attach a 2 x 1 rail plate to a regular plate and insert it into the bottom slot of the motor. Do this for each side.

Place two 2 x 6 plates under each motor.

Tie the two sides together with stacks of two 1 x 8 plates

Place a short wire on each motor. Make sure the body of the wire is within the two rear
2 x 1 plates located at the back of the chassis.

Place a #6 axle in the four holes closest to the motors. Slide a full size bushing on the inside portion of the axel to attach it to the chassis.

Place a 40 tooth spur gear on each axel and an 8 tooth spur gear on each motor shaft.

For each of the rear wheels place a full bushing on the outside of the 40 tooth spur gear. This keeps the rear tire from rubbing on the 8 tooth gear attached to the motor.
